Benjamin J. Ericksen, Jr., born in New Orleans September 20, 1931, died peacefully at his home on Thursday February 2, 2012 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Caroline Muhs Ericksen. Father of Lisa Julian (Tommy), Kevin Ericksen (Hollie), Benjamin Ericksen, III (Michelle), Jan Scott (Julius), Keith Ericksen (Tanya), and Donald Ericksen.
Son of the late Benjamin J. T. Ericksen and Esther Blanchard Dermady. Brother of Geraldine (Peggy) Hartman and Lillian Kent. Nephew of Laura Krogh. Grandfather of Emily, Jennifer & Caroline Julian; Ashley & Matthew Ericksen, Kaitlyn & Jonah Ericksen, Jacquelyn and Jourdan Scott; Luke Ericksen; and Madeline & Elise Ericksen.
Cofounder of Ericksen Krentel & LaPorte CPAs and President of Dorignac's Food Center.
His family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Lakeside Hospice for its loving care and support.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at ST. PHILIP NERI , 6500 KAWANEE AVE., METAIRIE, LA. 70003 on Monday February 6, 2012 at 12:30 PM.
