Memorial services for Bennie Frank "Curly" Spruill, Jr., 81, of Caldwell, are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Rev. David Norton will officiate. Mr. Spruill passed away, November 22 at the Colonial Care Center in Schulenburg, Texas. Frank was born March 5, 1929, to Bennie Frank Spruill, Sr., and Ula Faye Roskey Spruill in Chriesman, Texas. Frank was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He served in the Army for almost two years. He was a member of the Corp of Engineers in Flagstaff, AZ. Frank is survived by his son; Michael Duane and wife Cathy Spruill, of Caldwell, daughter; Becky and husband Tommy Gandy of Caldwell, grandchildren; Brant and Jenee Gandy, Erin and Luke Hairston, great grandchildren; Lily Gandy, Karley Hairston and Kamryn Hairston. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Deedie Spruill, and one sister Bertha Eichmann.
