Bernarda Nadia Frazier, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Born in Trieste, Italy, Nadia was the widow of Elliot B. Frazier and retired from civil service. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Frazier Sewell and husband Cody of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Sandy E. Frazier and wife Nancy of Chesterfield, VA; significant other, Robert A. Wilkes of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Angela Smerdley and husband Frank and family, of Sydney, Australia; four grandchildren, Jennifer A. McLaughlin of Virginia Beach, VA, Jason C., Matthew R. and Lauren E. Frazier, all of Chesterfield, VA; five great grandchildren, LeAynne R. and Forrest A. Miller of Virginia Beach, VA, Lucas R. Frazier of Chesterfield, VA, Braden M. and Cadence L. Frazier of Southerland, VA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. A funeral service for family and close friends will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Southlawn Memorial Park in Petersburg, VA on Friday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
