Alfaro, Bernardo E., 75, passed away January 6, 2012. He was born February 18, 1936 to Jesus and Rosa (Rios) Alfaro in Wichita, KS. Bernardo served in the 1st Division Army National Guard in Fort Riley, KS. He worked as a custodian at St. Francis, K-Mart, and Wal-Mart. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Alex Alfaro, Joe Alfaro, Mary Alfaro, and Clara (Alfaro) Lloyd; and son, Charles Edward Alfaro. Bernardo is survived by his wife, Ruby Alfaro; children, John (Shari) Alfaro, Rita (Alfaro) Adcock, and Rose (David) (Alfaro) Soles; 8 grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte Ingram. Funeral: 10:30 AM, Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 2209 E. Pawnee, Wichita, KS 67211.
