Bernice Buffo

Bernice lived in Evergreen Colorado and passed away on January 30, 2012. She was born on August 17, 1917 in Milladore, Wisconsin to Willard and Clara MacDonald. She married John B. Buffo in 1936, and they lived in the Chicago, Illinois area for many years. They retired to Dallas, Texas in 1972 and were members of the community there until they relocated to Evergreen, Colorado in 2001 to be closer to family. John and Bernice enjoyed 67 years of marriage before John died in 2003. Bernice is survived by her daughter Gail Thorstenson and husband Don of Evergreen, Colorado; her daughter Lynn Jones and husband Mark of Los Alamos, New Mexico; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is loved and will be missed by family and friends. There will be a service at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
