BERNICE V. SMITH Bernice V. Smith passed away on December 14, 2011 in Washougal at the age of 97. She was born on September 3, 1914 in Runge, TX. She moved to Washougal to be close to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Payton "Smitty" Smith and grandson, Nathan Boehm. She is survived by her sisters, Edna Kraatz of Orange Grove, TX, Gertrude Boehm of Cuero, TX; sons, Ernie Boehm of Monroe, LA, Alvin Boehm of Chinook, WA; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
