Bertha Louise Moore was born August 24, 1926 in Meridian, Mississippi, and passed from this life on November 18, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Contreras and her husband Frank; stepdaughters, Katherine Moore and Martha Jo Hamby and her husband Dean; stepsons, Tommy Moore and wife his Jo Ann, Bob Moore and his wife Patsy; sisters, Diane Davidson and Dean Moore; 13 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Conner; her sister, Francis; and her husband of 29 years, William Theodore Moore. Bertha Moore loved God and lived her life as a wonderful Christian lady. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The service will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Laurel Land Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Bob Moore. Interment to follow immediately. Donations, sent to Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Cliff, 1822 West Tenth Street, Dallas, Texas 75208, are requested in lieu of flowers.
