Bessie Anderson Seeley, 97, of the 1600 block of Old Donation Pkwy., Virginia Beach, VA, passed away December 18, 2011, in Virginia Beach, VA. A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the widow of A.W. "Bud" Seeley, Jr. She was a life-member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda S. Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA and Dorothy S. Cook and husband Robert of Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren, Kimberley Hadick of Oregon, IL, Marlene MacDonald of Virginia Beach, VA, Holly Young of Greensboro, NC and Andrew S. Cook of Statesboro, GA; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys Young and Margaret "Sissy" Anderson. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. J. Donald Harris officiating.
