Bettie N. McCall 80, went to be with her husband on Saturday (August 4) at Ridgecrest Manor, with her family by her side.

Bettie was a loving Mother, Grandmother, wife and friend. She was a lifetime member of the Mt. Herman Presbyterian church, she also enjoyed being an active member of the Eastern Star. Bettie retired from SEARS with 20 years of dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee McCall, Her son Erek, her sister Helen Turpin, and her parents Herbert, wife Athenia Taylor, two brothers Herbert Taylor Jr. and Edmond Taylor.

She is survived by her three children; Derek "Foster" ( wife, Kimberly) of Dallas TX, her daughter Tracee and (husband David) of Big Stone Gap, Timothy of Big Stone Gap, her two brothers; Tyrone Taylor, and Jerome Taylor, her five grandchildren Reid, Gilliana, Erek, Nickolas, and Susan, one great grandchild Scoutt, a special friend Martha Hagy, and a host of other very close relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday (August 7, 2012) from 6 pm until 8 pm at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap for the visitation.

The funeral will be conducted following the visitation with the Pastor, Anthony Barnette, and Jimmy Mitchell officiating.

Special music will be provided by the family.
