Betty Jean Smith, 56 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Monday, December 17, 1956 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edward Pierce and the late Edna Maxine Harrington Pierce Hillard.
She was employed by SRG Global of Newbern, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Smith of Newbern,Tennessee; four brothers, Jimmy Hilliard, Eddie Pierce , Clarance Pierce of and James Arrington all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Sue Douglas, Pam Hilliard and Brenda Hilliard all of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers that family ask that memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Fund, P.O. Box # 1002, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38025-1002.
