Betty Jean Poore
Greenville, SC

Betty Jean Poore, 71, of 6 Beaufort Street, passed away Friday, January 26, 2012 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Charlotte, NC, she was reared in Greenville and was the daughter of the late Jack and Lillie Barger Rhymer.

Mrs. Poore was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond W. Poore III of the home.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30pm at The Mackey Mortuary with graveside services to follow at 3:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Susan Crowell officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1660 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 421 N. Main Street, Greenville.
