Betty Jo Davis died Saturday November 29, 2008 at the age of 76 in Lubbock. She was born September 16, 1932 in Jones County TX to Ben & Florida McNeely.

She was preceded in death by her parents & three brothers Marion (Mac) McNeely, Sammy McNeely & her twin brother James.

She married C.J. (Jack) Davis March 1st 1953. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Survived by her daughter Mary Jo Cunningham, Son Tommy & wife Leslie Davis, daughter Lynda & husband Mark Hampton, brother Jack McNeely & wife Dixie, sister Mary & husband Taylor Sipe. grandchildren Amy Montgomery, Jason Fisher, Debra Kopecky & their spouses. Matthew & Danielle Hampton & their spouses. Neel, Eric, & Carlee Davis, & Beth Cunningham, 10 great-grandchildren: Cody & Kayla Lampier, Josh & Emily Montgomery, Hannah, Logan & Luke Fisher, Haleigh, Taylor & Brady Kopecky& numerous nieces, nephews & friends.

Betty worked for the former Methodist Hospital as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from 1980-1997 & at Grace House until 2002. Prior to that she was a homemaker & worked in the meat market for Piggly Wiggly grocery stores.

She took care of all of us. She loved greatly. She was greatly loved. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be on Tuesday at 2 pm at Vandellia Church of Christ with Ken Horn officiating.
