Betty Lee Hersch, 80, passed away April 25, 2011. The daughter of the late James and Ivey, she was born and raised in Norfolk, VA until moving to Virginia Beach, VA in the 1960's. She loved the local history of Virginia Beach. A devout Christian, she resided and volunteered at the Russell House for the last ten years and made many friends. She was the widow of Melvin M. Hersch. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Kuehne and husband Scott, and her son, Andrew Hersch, all of Virginia Beach, VA. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
