Betty Louise Childers
March 6, 1936 – June 16, 2011

Betty Louise Childers, 74, passed away Thursday at Huntsville Hospital. Betty was born in Owens Cross Roads. She was a former employee of the Chrysler Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Cobb and Ruby Smith Cobb; her husband Billy Childers, and two sisters, Lena Mae Cobb Rice and Doris Cobb Hall. Mrs. Childers is survived by three sons, Steve M. Beshears of Huntsville, Ricky D. Beshears of Hazel Green and Gary W. Beshears of Brownsboro; stepson Billy R. Childers, sisters Linda Cobb Roland of Ardmore and Marie Hilliard of Athens,8 grandchildren, 13 great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, with a viewing from 9 until 11 am Saturday. Burial will be at Moon Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.
