Betty Louise Lemasters, 78, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 2, 1930 in Middlebourne, WV, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Nolan Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold C. Lemasters who died May 23, 1996, seven brothers Clemit, Howard, Ora, Gail, Ross, Ray and Carl Crawford and two sisters Edna Willey and Irene Blankenship.With 35 years of service, Mrs. Lemasters retired from Weirton Medical Center where she worked as a ward clerk. She was a member of the Kings Creek Union Chapel, Weirton Medical Center Retirees and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Betty is survived by her sisters Dixie Lemasters of Weirton and Faye Minor and her husband Archie of Piqua, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and special friends, including Rhadine Ross of Weirton. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Friday. Pastor Daryl Maze will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
