Betty Sladek

Betty Sladek, 79 of Willoughby passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Medina Hospital. She was born September 1, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana to Paul and Lucille (nee Strawn) Turpin and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family. Mrs. Sladek is survived by her children David (Cindy) Sladek, Gerald "Jerry" (fiancé Cindy) Sladek, and Margaret Sladek; brother James Turpin; sister-in-law Shirley Turpin; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Michael, who passed away March 7; parents; brother Robert Turpin; and sister-in-law Susan Turpin. Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:30 with Funeral Services at 7:30 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
