BettyJo Ann Manwaring, 74, returned home to her Heavenly Father, July 19, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born March 5, 1936 in Bucklin, Kansas, daughter of Robert and Christine Krupp. She attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University, where she received her degree. She married Karl H Manwaring, June 30, 1971. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, November 1974. She worked many years at Primary Children's and LDS Hospital in administration and later at Centerville Elementary as a librarian. Betty was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in various callings. She loved attending the temple weekly. Betty was a hard worker and was dedicated to serving others. Preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Karl H Manwaring; parents, Robert and Christine Krupp; brother, Donald E. Mealer; and step-son, Howard Manwaring. Survived by her twin daughters, Kara "Kit" (Clayton) Hunt & Marisa Manwaring; daughters, Mari (Jeffrey) Kirkham, Carrie McGregor; and son Gavin R. McGregor; step-children, Christina (John, deceased) Huish, Patricia (Cary) Wood, Deanne (Jeff) Mohomed, Sandra Manwaring and Paul Manwaring; sisters, Barbara (Merrill) Smedley, Margaret (Joe) Lakey; brother, Jack (Katsuko) Mealer; sister-in-law, Corinne Landru; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Kimball Mill Ward Chapel, 650 South 200 East, Bountiful. Friends and family may call Sunday evening 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Monday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
