Bettye Jean Williams February 14, 1926 - October 22, 2011 Bettye Jean Williams of Waco went home with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her residence. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Bettye was born February 14, 1926 in Nederland, Texas, to J. H. and Corrie Boyd. She retired from the Connally School District after teaching for 40 years. Bettye was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald M. Williams; a brother, Jack Boyd; and a daughter, Sarah Kay Williams. She is survived by her son, Boyd of Ft. Worth; her daughter, Jeanna Kish and husband, Freddie of Waco; and two grandchildren, Staci Cates of Sacramento, CA, and John Robert Cates of Denver, CO.
