Bettye Runya Sharker Oliver
April 26, 1934 – February 17, 2011
Bettye Runya Sharker Oliver 76, of Huntsville passed away Thursday at a local hospital. Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by her brother Frances Ray Sharker.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years Elwood L. Oliver. Daughters Rebecca Oliver Dean and her husband Daniel and Dianne Louise Oliver and her life partner Amy Brandebury. Grandchildren Christina Kempaner Hearne and her husband John Michael and Jacob Oliver Dean. Great granddaughter Rebecca Elaine “Lainey” Hearne. Brothers Benjamin Harry Sharker and Harold Sanders Sharker.
Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 pm until 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Mitzi Minor Officiating.
