Funeral services for Beulah Ellis, 81, of Terrell, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Wills Point with Bro. Charles Scarborough and Bro. Frank Snider officiating. Interment will follow at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Myrtle Springs under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. She passed away Saturday morning, June 9, 2012, in Terrell. Beulah was born October 7, 1930, in Arkansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Pearl Webster Huffman and Mellie Richardson Huffman. She graduated from Arkansas City High School. On September 30, 1949, she married Frank Ellis in Arkansas City. She later moved to Mesquite. She was employed as a nurse's aide for Mesquite General Hospital and by Rabal, Inc. south of Wills Point. In 1974, she moved to Wills Point. Beulah enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and taking care of her cats. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Wills Point. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Ellis on January 6, 1998; son, Johnny Max Ellis; son-in-law, Louis Criswell; two brothers, Malcom Huffman and Glenn Huffman and a sister, Virda Huffman Erzinger. Beulah is survived by a son, Billy Ellis, of Royse City; two daughters, Beth Pollard, of Mesquite and Ruthie Criswell, of Canton; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning prior to service.
