Bill C. Fry, 77, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. He was born December 11, 1932 in Kent County, Texas to Albert Alexander and Esther Daisy (Cobb) Fry. He married Tennie Jane Kidd December 17, 1951. Bill was a longtime businessman in Lubbock and owned and operated Fry Farm Equipment for 35 years. He loved to trade farm equipment, fishing, boating, R.V. travel and his family. Bill was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and an ordained deacon.
His survivors include his wife, Tennie; a daughter, Teenya Gilbert and husband Terry; two sons, David Fry and wife Cathy and Brad Fry and wife Letty; a brother, Mack Fry and wife Sharon; a sister, Nada Ivy and husband Grady; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services celebrating the life of Bill Fry will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sanders Funeral home Chapel with Dr. David Wilson and Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the West Texas Parkinson's Foundation and Hospice of Lubbock. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-7:30 p.m.
