Bill Haynes
Age 81, of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. Bill was born in Wetumka, OK to Callaway and Marvis Haynes. After graduation from High School, Bill, enlisted in the Air Force, during which time he met Lavern Daubenspeck. They were married in 1950. They moved to New Mexico where he worked as an electrician for El Paso Natural Gas Co. for more than 30 years. Throughout his life, Bill found great enjoyment spending time with his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed fishing. Bill had been a member of the Masons and the Elks Club in Gallup. He is survived by Lavern, his wife of 61 years; children, Peggy Jo Griego, Chris Haynes, David Haynes and wife Debra; brother, Kenneth Haynes and wife Nell; grandchildren, Kimberly, Neal, Zachary and Justin; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aubrey, Justin Jr., Alyssa, and Major. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, 12:00 PM, at French-Westside Chapel. A committal service will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
