William T. Morris (Bill), 83, went to be with the Lord and his son Bill on December 31, 2011. William was a long time resident of McDonough, GA. He passed peacefully at his home in New Smyrna Beach, FL surrounded by his family. William was preceded in death by his parents, G. B. and Sarah Morris, and his beloved son William T. Morris Jr. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Janna Morris and his daughter Kathy. William was also a loving grandfather and leaves behind five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. William's life was devoted to the love of God, family and country. The family will receive visitors at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough with Rev. Paul Leslie officiating.
