Billie Jean Prater, 80, of Baytown passed away, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Battle Ground, WA. She enjoyed collecting Christmas ornaments and making Christmas stockings for her great- grandchildren.

Billie Jean was born May 28, 1931in Corsicana, TX. She worked as a letter carrier for the Baytown post office for 33 years. A special thanks to all of her friends she enjoyed working with so much.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Prater and her brother, Troy Tucker. Her parents were Albert and Mabel Tucker. She is survived by her son, Philip Prater, and daughter, Susan Archer, 3 grandchildren, Bryan and Steven Prater and Mary Urban, and 7 great- grandchildren, Jordan, Lexi, Kylie, and Kiera Prater and Elly, Noah, and Brenna Urban.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.
