Billie Ann Wade, of Kemp, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2009 at the age of 74. She was born in Kaufman, Texas on January 21, 1935 to Jerry O. and Martha Ann Smith Bobbitt. Billie always enjoyed spending time in her garden and with her family. She baked pies and her famous banana pudding for her family especially during the holidays which was her favorite time of year. Billie is survived by her beloved husband: Jimmy Wade of Kemp, Texas; loving children: Dickie Lynn Duckworth of Edgewood, Texas, Clifford Dewayne Duckworth of Kemp, Texas, Brenda Ann Gandy and husband Berry of Kemp, Texas, Jerry Dee Duckworth of Kemp, Texas, Chad B. Duckworth of Kemp, Texas; brother: Jerry Bobbitt and wife Charlotte of Arrington, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; plus numerous nieces nephews and a host of family and friends. Billie is preceded in death by her previous husband: Willie “Buddy” Dee Duckworth; sisters: Edna Boyd and Joyce Bobbitt; and great-grandson: Jacob Duckworth.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 02, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral was held at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 2:00pm with Pastor Homer Morgan officiating. Interment followed at Baker Cemetery.
