Eubanks, Billy C. "Bill", age 75, of Balch Springs, TX went home to be with the LORD June 16, 2011. Dad passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with cancer. Bill was born October 8, 1935 in Corisicana, Texas. Bill is survived by his wife Minnie who were happily married for 52 years, married on September 6, 1959, three daughters, Cherry Smith & husband Rob, Karen Phillippe & husband Greg, Michelle Hudson, one son by choice James Vaughan & wife Lisa, eleven grandchildren Bridgett, Jeremy, Jason, Jeffrey, Jared, Jessica, Aaron, Tyler, Gina, Shea & husband Allen, Joshua & wife Malynn. Five great-grandchildren Brenden, Zachery, Bradely, Brianna, Joshua Jr. Sister Helen Mitchell & husband Bill, Nephew Al Eubanks & wife Nancy , along with several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was a retired Master Plumber and Fire Sprinkler Fitter for Local 669. Dad was a Veteran in the
US Army, Cpl Billy C Eubanks served in the Korean War and served 2 terms for a total of 6 years with decorations. He received CIBAD Purple Heart for being wounded while in the Korean War, Bronze Cp Stars for his bravery acts of merit and he received many honor medals for serving our country which include the KSM, UNSM, NDSM, GCM. Bill & Minnie members of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church. Dad was a loving daddy and grandfather and great grandfather and loved his friends. Dad would do anything for anyone when given the opportunity. Dad loved his hobbies of coin collecting, sky diving, boating, sking, fishing, bowling and wood work and painting. Please join us in our celebration of daddy going home to the LORD. Visitation will be 6-8pm on Monday, June 20th at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home in Mesquite, TX. Memorial service will be Tuesday June 21st, at 10:00am at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church in the chapel. Brother Lynn Crocker Officiating. Then we will proceed to the gravesite at Roselawn Cemetery in Seagoville, TX.
