Billy Mikeal "Mike" Barrow, 57, of Oak Cliff, TX passed away on Thursday October 13, 2011 in Dallas, TX. Mike was born on October 10, 1954 in Dallas, TX to Derrell and Jean Barrow. Mike was an avid music lover and a talented artist in illustration and music. He was a tough, funny and very charismatic man that had a huge heart. Mike was a wonderful father, son and a great friend. "I thought my Dad was superman, but Dad always told me every superman has his kryptonite." -- A quote by Mike's son Jordan.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Derrell "Papa Bear" Barrow earlier this year, Paternal grandparents Ted and Stella Barrow, Maternal grandparents Eskar and Annie Mae Flowers and namesake uncle Billy Jack Barrow.
Survivors include, his daughter, Lauren Bohmaker and her husband Jake, son Jordan Barrow; Mother, Jean "Mama Bear" Barrow; Brother, Doug Barrow and his wife Veronica, Brother, Bobby Barrow; Aunt, Beth Laske and her husband Larry and numerous nieces and nephews.
For memorial service information, please contact the family directly at their request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA or the Tri-City Animal Shelter. There are links provided for both charities on this page.
