MORTON - Mr. Billy Morton passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 29th, 2010. Mr. Morton was born to Clovis and Sue Morton September 26, 1933 in Godley Texas. He served 2 years in the US Army and went on to work for the Santa Fe Railroad as a General Foreman in the Purchasing department until he retired. Mr. Morton married Joy Ann Hix in 1956. He and his family were transferred to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1972 with the railroad. He was preceded in death by Joy Ann Morton, his wife in 1993. Mr. Morton is survived by his son Mark Morton and wife Christy Morton of Cleburne Texas, his son Monte C. Morton and wife Katrina L. Morton of Albuquerque, and son Craig Morton of Albuquerque. His grandchildren, Jessica M. Morton of Albuquerque, Dylan Morton of Albuquerque, Alexis Morton of Cleburne TX and Rachel Morton of Cleburne TX. Brother Bobby Morton and wife Sandy Morton of Independence MI and RB Morton and his wife June Morton of Texas City. Services for Mr. Morton will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, TX. 1664 W Henderson St., Cleburne, TX (817) 641-4800.
