Blake Brent Loosle Age 23 was born April 27, 1987 and passed away March 21, 2011. He is the son of Brent Loosle and Joan Loosle. Blake loved the gospel and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a 4-year seminary graduate and an eagle scout. Blake excelled in sports -- especially soccer, skateboarding, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, road races and baseball. He could run like the wind and loved swimming. Blake loved the outdoors along with camping, hiking, and exploring. Blake was a modern mountain man who respected nature with wide open wilderness areas. He enjoyed climbing mountain peaks such as Kings Peak, Lone Peak, and Mt. Timpanogas. He loved to travel, especially the beach. He was a great friend to many. Blake is survived by brothers Kyle, Clayton, and Cody and sisters Amber, Shaylyn, Kelsey, and Ashlee as well as grandparents Marvin and Patty Loosle, Gloria and John Daniels and Reg Cross, uncles Todd Loosle, Ian Abercrombie, Gary Daniels, Russell Daniels and Clint Jensen and aunts, Tami Loosle, Korie Loosle Jensen, Angie Essel, Shannon Spaans and Deone Loosle. He has many loving cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jean and Ralph Abercrombie. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 28th at 12:00 noon at the Crescent Ridge Stake Center located 11000 South and 1300 East in Sandy, Utah. Family, friends, and other loved ones are welcome to visit 1 hour prior to funeral services on Monday or on Sunday, March 27th from 6 to 8 PM at the same location. Interment will located at Mountain View Memorial Park located at 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
