Blanche Russo, 73, of Hightstown, died Saturday in The Gardens at Monroe. Born in Milltown, New Jersey, she was a long time Hightstown resident where she made lots of friends living at Saint James Village. Blanche loved to garden, care for her cat and more importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Luther and Dorothy Breece; her husband Anthony Russo; her daughter Linda Russo; life partner John Slover; and brother Luther Breece. Blanche is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, and grandson that she raised and considered her son, Dorothy and Robert Campbell, Debrah and Angel Fontanez, Anthony Russo and wife Erin; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Audrey Breece; grandchildren; George, Scott, Danny, Jessica, Gina, Sarah, Andrea, and Kyle; great-grandchildren; Devin, Tiffany, Alexea, Chloe, Isabella, and Eian. Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown. Family and friends may call Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
