Bob Cagle
Simpsonville, SC

Robert Elton Cagle, Jr., 62, of 317 Woodruff Park Lane, passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2011 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Robert Elton and Frances Banks Cagle.

Bob was a graduate of Lander University and retired after 20 years service as an auditor with Regional Management Corporation. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shirley A. Cagle, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Lane of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Cathy McDowell of Simpsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Gene Wells of Augusta, GA and Sandy and Wayne Vaughn of Anderson, SC; and 8 grandchildren.

Services will be 1pm Wednesday, November 16th at The Mackey Mortuary with the Reverend Michael Causey officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm at the mortuary. Interment to follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
