Bobby Gene Ward
December 25, 1944 – March 24, 2011
Bobby Gene Ward, 66, of New Hope passed away at his residence on Thursday after a valiant 18 month battle with melanoma. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Lee Ward, his mother, Annie Mae Magness and his sister Barbara Burroughs. He is survived by his wife Veronica Ward, his grandsons Justin Ward, Christopher Howell and Michael Howell; his brothers, Jimmy Ward and Clifford Ward; his sisters Juanita Wilbourn, Carolyn Tumlin, Betty Hodge and numerous family members and friends who will miss him greatly. He was retired from Engineering Manufacturing Services.
The family will receive visitors from 12 PM until 2 PM Sunday at Valhalla Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Valhalla memory Gardens in the Garden of Everlasting Life at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his honor to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.
