Bobby Joe Heer, age 55 of Bauxite, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to his parents Avery V. and Pat Boyette Heer. Bobby was retired after 27 years as a Shift Supervisor from the Little Rock Waste and Water Utilities and served on the Saline County Sheriff’s Department as a part-time Deputy.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Stacey; three step-sons, Hoot Gibson (Rachel) of Melbourne, FL, Wayne Gibson (Jamie) of Alexander, AR and David Gibson (Kim) of Benton, AR; his parents and four brothers, Tony, Glenn and Michael Heer all of Sardis, AR; one sister, Kathy Keever of Bryant, AR, and four grandchildren, Michael, Whitney, Davie and Hunter Gibson. He is preceded in death by one brother, Kelly Heer.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral home, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, AR (501) 455-1067 with Pastor Gene Huskey officiating. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.
