I feel so cheated and so sorry I had not called you in the last three weeks. I know if you could come back you would not but one day all that name the name of the LORD will come to you. I look forward seeing you one day.

I'm sorry I can not be there to support you. I'm certain your mom will stay with you for ever, and you will never stop missing her. She can be proud of the wonderful things she accomplished, and lives she touched, that the world is better for. And you can be proud of that too. Thanks to your family for sharing so much of her time and love.

I was in Ms. Irvin's first class at Brookhaven. It was the hardest class I ever took, but also the best. Bobbye took seriously Brookhaven's desire to have true college level classes that would transfer to a four year institution. The class started with 35 and ended with 13. I will never forget that first exam. Six of us passed it. Some just got up and left when they saw how hard it was. They never wrote a word, they

Bobbye took seriously Brookhaven's desire to have true college level classes that would transfer to a four year institution. The class started with 35 and ended with 13. I will never forget that first exam. Six of us passed it. Some just got up and left when they saw how hard it was. They never wrote a word, they just stared incredulously at the board for a few minutes before leaving and dropping the class. Those of us that stuck it out had the priviledge of getting to know a very special lady and a gifted educator.

To the Irvine family,

My deepest sympathy, your family's in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I'll remember her lively spirit and her orange Corvette.

What an absolutely beautiful & loving legacy your mother has established—very much including your family. Barry—you are one of the most kind, calm & considerate people I have ever known and I feel in my heart of hearts that your mother was instrumental in nurturing & stoking these qualities.

Sorry to read of the loss of your dear mother. I do not know your family just wish to offer words of comfort. May knowing that others care about your great loss give you a measure of comfort. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together. May the love of God comfort you now and in days ahead.

So sorry to hear about Bobbye's passing. I'm sure she is smiling now, but I know you are not. I was an original member of the Cancer Support Group and remember most Bobbye's care, love, and support for all of her "sheep". Please know that she was a very special person that Jesus used on earth to guide others and I am sure she got a "Well Done, my good and faithful servant" upon her arrival with Jesus in Heaven.

We were so sorry to learn of Bobbye's passing. She fought a brave battle for a long time, but was always hopeful. Bobbye was a lovely "Southern Lady" and will be remembered for her kind and gentle manner.
