Bradley Dale Blehm was born October 28, 1959 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins and was shot and killed in Monument, Colorado on August 9, 2010. He was the son of Del and Carol Blehm of Fort Collins and Janet Clark of Las Vegas, NV. Other survivors include his son, Nathan and daughter-in-law Lauren Blehm of Littleton; a brother, Wayne Blehm; a sister, Mina Pa of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Rob Bulmer and wife Cherie of Awhanee, CA; ex-wife Joanne Blehm of Monument; and many nieces and nephews. Brad graduated from Smokey Hill High School in Denver in 1977 and went on to graduate from Denver Automotive and Diesel. Brad loved family, care, motorcycles, Nascar, drag racing, yard and landscape work, and Colorado. He was proud to be a Colorado Pioneer because his father and grandfather were both born in Fort Collins. He was always a Dale Earnhardt (#3) fan and had a huge collection of Earnhardt Memorabilia. Brad specialized in General Motors work and attended many GM schools and training classes. He worked mostly at GM Dealerships in the Denver and Colorado Springs area. Brad and Joanne moved to a horse property East of Monument four years ago and after their divorce, he moved into Monument and took a mechanics job at the Big O Tire Dealer. He really liked the Monument area and the small town atmosphere. Brad wanted to spend the rest of his life in Monument….he got his wish. He was loved by family and friends and will be missed. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Memory Gardens with a reception to follow in the Resthaven Reception Center.
