Brenda Ann Stoker was born August 17, 1957, to L. A. Johnson and Luvenia Dedrick in Greensboro, Alabama. She entered this world with the purpose of changing lives. She was raised by Luvenia Dedrick and Wilbert Dedrick.
This beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend graduated from Greensboro High School. She went on to graduate from Tuskegee University with her Bachelor of Arts in Education. From there, she continued to seek knowledge at the University of North Texas, where she earned her Masters in Education.
Brenda Ann spent her life educating others and providing for her family. She worked 16 years in the Dallas Independent School District, where she befriended many colleagues. She worked three years in the Grand Prairie Independent School District where she made plenty more friends and impacted many lives. She never met a stranger, as she enjoyed a bond with every person who crossed her path.
Brenda Ann became a part of many homes and families. Covenant Ministries, particularly, under the pastoral care of Mike and Kathy Hayes, provided Brenda with a faith strengthening fellowship for four years of her life. It was just recently that she made more friends and family when she became a member of the Prophetic Life's Team.
Brenda Ann leaves to cherish the memories of the great life she lived, her parents, Luvenia Dedrick, Wilbert Dedrick, and L. A. Johnson; her children, Carla Lindsey, Ralston Stoker and Ryan Stoker; her grandchildren, Elijah Lindsey and Reshawn Stoker; her brothers, George Dedrick and Joe Dedrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Peace unto those who knew Brenda Ann Stoker because peace is who she is and who she was. Through life, you brought joy and you won souls to Christ, your purpose lived up to until the very end. In loving memory, you live on.
