Brenda is survived by her husband, Milton Santiago, Jr., her parents, Bobby and Jackie Powell, Collinsville, OK; brothers, Jimmy Powell and children: Sarah, Jessica and Jeremy, Terrell, TX; Robert (Angela) Powell, children: Mayson, Joselyn, Meyghan, Jazmyne – Claremore, OK; sisters, Wendy (Shane) Winfrey,, children: Mikey, Wenoah, Wyatt – Denton, TX; Sheri and Dell Garcia, children: Isaac and Isabella, Collinsville, OK Aunts and Uncles, Altis & Mary Grace Powell; Billie & Earline Guinn; Troy & Peggy Powell; Steve & Kathy Powell Brenda was preceded in death by her mother.

Lee County, Florida was Brenda’s home for the last 23 years. She served with her husband Milton Santiago, Jr. as Youth Pastors at Covenant Community Ministries (now Elevation Ministries) in Fort Myers, FL and at Harvest Church in Lehigh Acres, FL. Her focus for ministry was children and youth. Her church family was extremely important to her. She was greatly loved for her good nature, sense of humor and her steadfast love for the Lord.

A memorial service will held at Elevation Ministries, (First Baptist Church) 1735 Jackson Street • Fort Myers, Florida. 33901, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 7 pm with Pastor David Pleasant officiating.
