Brian Kurt Wuetherich was born on May 13, 1967, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the fourth child of Fredric and Dorothy (Ristow) Wuetherich. Brian was baptized as an infant on June 4, 1967, by Rev. Gary Kasten, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on May 3, 1981, by Rev. Dave Martens both at Prairie Community Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. He received his education in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, attending Lester Prairie High School. Brian grew up on the family farm near Lester Prairie and after school moved into town. In 2000, he bought his own farm site in rural Glencoe. He was blessed with two children, Morgan and Taylor. Brian worked first at Holasek's Flower Power, later went to Lester's Inc. and Litzau Excavating in Lester Prairie. For the past 10 years, Brian worked for William Mueller and Sons, Inc. in Hamburg, Minnesota, operating heavy equipment. Brian was a member of Prairie Community Church in Lester Prairie. Brian loved to make wood, plant flowers and trees, having planted dozens of trees in just the past two years. He enjoyed participating in 4-wheel drive truck pulls and riding his dirt bike. Brian always had time to help out a friend, loved Morgan's dog, "Montana" and he cherished time spent with his family and friends. And like Billy Currington sings, he was "pretty good at drinking beer."
