GROVERTOWN-Bruce E. Wolber, 65, passed away in his home Monday, June 11, 2012. Bruce was born October 11, 1946 in Lee County, IL to William and Joyce (Lawrence) Wolber and lived in the area for twelve years, coming from Crown Point. On April 1, 1967 in Hessville, IN, he was married to the former Cheryll Jones. Surviving are: his wife, Cheryll; two sons, Tom (Stacey) Wolber of Grovertown and Todd (Jill) Wolber of Roselawn, IN; one sister, Sandra Atteberry of Rock Falls, IL; his mother, Joyce Wolber of Rock Falls, IL; his father-in-law, Thomas Jones of Grovertown and grandchildren, Dakota, Sierra, Hayley, Jake, Justin, Holly, Allison and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Paul Wolber.Bruce was a former employee of Union Tank Car in East Chicago, IN.

There will be a private family service at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to the Starke County 4-H Horse & Pony Club. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.
