Bruce G. Wilson, 57 of Vanderbilt, formerly of Newport, walked down his last trail on Thursday, August 6th at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had a fast and peaceful journey. He was born in Monroe on May 30th, 1952 to Bruce and Lorena (Lanzesira) Wison, who preceded him in this world. He is survived by his sister Sharon(Tom) Rose, a nephew Tom (Audrey) and a niece Tiffany. An uncle and aunt, Mike and Pat Lanzesira of Newport, 4 great nieces and nephews( Ashley, Zach, Michael, and Olivia Rose) and a granddaughter Shanna(Brado) of Gaylord. His extended family included the Paolino's & the Aldrich's. Rick, Marala, and Paul Paolino of Vanderbilt, and Dawn Hager of Gaylord, cared for him during his failing health. Bruce was a 1970 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central and attended Aquinas College. He was a successful business owner in Grand Rapids and St.Helen, and later worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps, an Employment Trainer, and a Life Skills coach. Bruce had a passion for music and played the guitar frequently. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and most of all picking mushrooms in the spring. He had countless friends who loved him and will miss him very much. Ride on Bruce. Cremation arranged by Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan.
