Bryan Lee Vartti, 50, of 121 Abraham�s Road, Skandia, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 as a result of an auto accident. He was born May 25, 1961 at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette and was a 1979 graduate of Gwinn High School. He then attended Northern Michigan University for studies involving auto body work. Bryan was employed at Prestige Interiors in Houston, Texas, moving back to Skandia in 2000. He was employed in this area at both the Holiday and Ramada Inn as well as UpFront & Co. until becoming disabled. He was a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey. Bryan always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and is survived by his mother, Anita (Wilder) �Tootie� Vartti of Skandia; his brother, Kelvin (Gina) Vartti and nephews, Isak and Jacob Vartti, all of Hugo, MN; aunts, Julia Vartti of Munising, Creata Vartti of Lower Michigan, Judy Musselwhite of Palmer, MI; uncles, George D. (Kathy) Wilder of Negaunee, Donald Wilder of Nashville, NC, Allen (Janette) Wilder of Prince George, VA, Richard (Holly) Wilder of Marquette and George Vartti of Hilliard, FL; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Karlo Vartti in 2000 as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held at St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Ben Paris officiating. Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery in Chatham. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Bryan�s family, 121 Abraham�s Road, Skandia, MI 49885.
