Bryce VanWagoner
“The Candyman”

Our beloved Father, Bryce Van Wagoner, age 82 returned home to his Heavenly Father and was reunited with his sweetheart June on Oct 21, 2010. He was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah on July 4, 1928 to Dean Delos and Ella Rose Johnson Van Wagoner. He married his best friend, June Rasmussen February 15, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. Their union was blessed with 6 children, Kurt, Debra & Steven VanWagoner, Jill Henneman (Paul), Lori Hiatt (Broc), and Susan Ritchie (Bryan). He was loved and adored by his children, his 22 grand children, and 9 great grand children.
He graduated from South High School and received a business degree from LDS Business College. In his professional life he was Co-owner and President of Olympus Glass Co. He served many years in the Homebuilders Association and Rotary Club. He was a gifted businessman who had a profound influence in the lives of many.
He loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in many callings as well as Bishop. His love and compassion was far reaching and was felt by those he served. He had the opportunity to serve as a missionary with his wife as well as a temple worker for many years.
He was always positive, happy and had the brightest smile with radiant eyes. There were hugs for everybody, even strangers. He taught us to take time to see and appreciate Gods beautiful creations and to embrace life to its fullest. In his later years, he will be remembered most by the handful of candy he gave to cheer the lives of those he met along the way.
