Burl B. Cozart, 83, of Bryant passed away on Monday, August 8th, 2011. He was born on April 24th, 1928 to the late William and Effie May Cozart in Royal, Arkansas. The founder of Little Rock Sheet Metal, Burl loved his work and thought of his shop and workers as his second family. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and gambling.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 60 years, Betty (Ayers); his children Kathy Lynch of Bryant and Chris Cozart and his wife Judy of Mayflower; his sister Rossie Lee Resler of Indiana; his grandchildren Sarah Vanya and her husband Robert, Shelley Purtle and her husband Blain, Stephen Lynch and his fiancée Maddie Edison and Phillip Lynch; his five great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House, 23157 Interstate 30, Bryant, AR 72022.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 11th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Robert Vanya officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th at the funeral home.
