Burley Blevins Jr., age 87 of Sweetwater passed away Friday, December 30, 2011. Preceded in death by his wife; Juanita Ridge Blevins, parents; Burley Blevins Sr., and Maude Godsey Blevins, brothers; Roy Blevins and William Stanley Blevins, sisters; Fannie Sizer, Annie B. Richesin, Pearl Jenkins, Ellen Vann. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law; Rodney Lewis Blevins and wife Imogene of Loudon, Dennis Edward Blevins and wife Shaune D. of Nashville, grandchildren; Anna Elizabeth Blevins, Justin Palmer Blevins, sisters; Alene Trotter of Nashville and Edna Smith of Alabama. The family will meet 12:45 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Sweetwater Memorial Park for a 1:00 PM graveside service and Interment with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating.
