Calvin E. Motte
Greenville, SC

Calvin E. Motte, 77, husband of Norma Kirkland Motte, died January 10, 2012.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Clifford Earl and Winnie Jones Motte.

Mr. Motte was a Master Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force (Retired). He was a member of Brookwood Church and past president of the United States Bowling Association of Greenville.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Calvin E. Motte, II (Carrie) of Greer; a step-daughter, Cheryl Kennett (Richard) of Orange Park, FL; a brother, William Motte, Sr. of Taylors; two sisters, Jean Price of Greenville and Joan Barnes of St. Mary's, GA; two grandsons, Parker and Calvin C. Motte; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. William Motte, Sr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
