Candice Marie Owens, 28, of Greenbrier, died Thursday June 30, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Rawls officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Candice was born September 4, 1982 in Robertson County. She had previously worked as a clerk at Springfield Inn and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers: Linda Bagwell and Linda Watkins. Candice is survived by her son and daughter: William and Arianna Bibee both of Springfield, father and step-mother: David “Tony” and Justina Owens of Greenbrier, mother: Kim Bagwell Chowning of Springfield, brother: David Owens of Greenbrier, grandparents: John and Susan Owens of Springfield, Roy Bagwell of Springfield.
