Mr. Carl Harris Hall, age 84, of Newnan formerly of McDonough, GA passed away November 10, 2011. Mr. Hall was born in Dooly County, the son of the late John Willis and Lela Mae Rhodes Hall. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Polly Samples, and a brother, Leonard Hall. Mr. Hall was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, watching wrestling, Braves baseball, and country music (Hank Williams). He attended church at South Metro Ministries in Newnan. Survivors are his wife, Betty Hall of Newnan; children, Debra Hartman (Steve) of Newnan, and Donna Sikes (Bobby) of Newnan; grandchildren, Megan Hartman of Nashville, Jeremy and Jason Sikes of Newnan; brother, Thomas Hall (Ruby) of Norcross; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Hall will be Monday, November 14, 2011 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Mathura officiating. Interment will follow Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Carol Renfroe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 4 – 6:00 PM.
