Mr. Carl S. Mulligan, Jr., age 84 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 3, 2011. Carl was born in Duluth, Georgia to the late Carl S. and Izora Saxon Mulligan, Sr. He was preceded in death by a wife, Dorothy Mulligan and by sisters, Lucy Palmer and Geraldine Moss. He worked over thirty years at West Lumber Company. He was an avid bowler in his early years and enjoyed NASCAR and the Braves. Sonny was survived by his wife, Lynne Mulligan; children, Tony (Bobbi Adams) Mulligan of McDonough, Elaine (Bobby) Konvicka of Union City, Gail (Harry Maines) Wynne of Milner; mother of his children, Ernestine Mulligan of Riverdale; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Montine Clay of Alabama; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Carl.
