Carlton Kelly, 63, of Moline, IL died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island, IL.
Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macomb Little Bombers Wrestling Organization.
Carlton was born on June 14, 1948 in Marion County, AL the son of Oliver and Mary (Sorrells) Kelly.
He married Debra Frohreich in Moline, IL on March 23, 1974. He worked as an inspector for John Deere Plow Planter and Seeding Division, retiring in 2010; and was also an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Carlton belonged to the Moline American Legion Post #246 and was a former union steward as well as alternate committeeman for Moline Local 434. He was a hunter and loved to ride his Harley with his brothers and friends. He loved his family very much, especially spending quality time with his grandchildren.
