Molly (Carmela) D'Elia, 95, of Hightstown, NJ passed away Monday at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New York, NY, she was a longtime Hightstown, NJ area resident.
Mrs. D'Elia retired from Creative Playthings/CBS in 1975. A member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, she was active with the Anthonians Senior Group and the Autumn Club, which she belonged to for 50 years. She was one of the first female Juror's in New York City.
Molly loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, being at the beach, attending Yankee games and traveling to Italy, Caribbean cruises, and Aruba every year with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband, Angelo D'Elia, her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Joseph Cucciniello, and six brothers and sisters; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Joy D'Elia; her brother, Gerard Gentilella; five grandchildren, Ann Marie Cucciniello, James D'Elia, Joseph Cucciniello, Michael D'Elia and his wife, Amy Stemhagen and Lisajoy D'Elia; four great-grandchildren, Nicole and Joseph Cucciniello, Ravi and Owen D'Elia; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will begin 9:30am Friday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
Relatives and friends may call 7-9pm Wednesday and 2-5pm and 7-9pm Thursday at the funeral home.
